Breguet completes this iconic collection with the Marine Chronograph 5529 and the Marine 9518 which stand out for their delicately set diamonds.
This piece enhances the range of chronographs in the Marine collection and features a number of the design codes so dear to Breguet. Available in either rose gold or white gold, it features a blue gold dial embellished with an engraved wave motif. The hours and minutes are indicated by the famous open-tipped Breguet hands, while the chronograph hand can be identified by its tip, which is reminiscent of the “B” found in navigation codes. On the hours chapters, several markers are represented by baguette-cut diamonds. The Marine 5529 dial also features three counters of 30 minutes, 12 hours and 60 seconds located at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock respectively, as well as a date aperture at 4:30. The 42.3 mm diameter case features a bezel set with baguette-cut diamonds which houses the 582 QA automatic movement.
The gold dial in sunburst or silvered blue of the Marine 9518 features 8 diamonds that sit in place of certain markers. The bezel features 50 diamonds. Several distinctive Breguet signs can be found on this model, such as the open-tipped hour and minute hands. The tip of the seconds hands is a reference to maritime signals. This takes the form of the letter “B”, which stands for “Bravo” in navigation codes. This 33.8 diameter steel watch features the 591A automatic movement.
