Lyrique Etude Number 2

The Lyrique Étude N°2 Guilloché is an exceptionally refined independent watchmaking project that brings together a remarkable group of Swiss specialists in a limited edition of just 100 pieces. Measuring 39mm in diameter, the stainless steel case is produced by Voutilainen & Cattin and combines brushed surfaces with polished details, creating a restrained yet highly architectural profile. The rich brown/burgundy guilloché dial, created by Comblémine from an original design by Matthieu Allègre, is the defining feature of the watch, with intricate hand-finished patterns providing depth and texture across the dial. A brushed chapter ring frames raised applied Arabic numerals, while the eccentric small-seconds display at approximately 8 o'clock gives the watch its distinctive asymmetrical character. Fiedler hands complete the dial with an elegant, traditional appearance.

At the heart of the Étude N°2 is the hand-wound Agenhor AGH-6802 movement, a highly unconventional caliber developed specifically for Lyrique. Operating at 21,600 vibrations per hour, the movement provides approximately 40 hours of power reserve and incorporates Agenhor's AgenEse system for the smooth operation of the eccentric seconds hand, along with the AgenPit regulator for precise adjustment of both frequency and beat. The movement is visible through the exhibition caseback, allowing the unusual architecture and hand-finishing to be appreciated from both sides of the watch. Water resistant to 30 meters and paired with a hand-made leather strap and pin buckle, the Étude N°2 is less a conventional luxury watch than a showcase of contemporary independent Swiss craftsmanship—bringing together the work of Agenhor, Voutilainen & Cattin, Comblémine, Fiedler, Protexo, and Boucledor in a remarkably cohesive and limited-edition timepiece.
