The year 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of the Seiko diver’s watch. Since creating Japan’s first diver’s watch in 1965, Seiko has continuously advanced in diver’s watchmaking to meet the demands of professional divers worldwide.
Seiko’s first diver’s watch pursued reliability and safety, paving the way for many future innovations. In 1968, the company released a high-beat, 300m air-diving model, meeting the global standard for the time. In 1975, Seiko launched the world’s first 600m-water-resistant model for saturation diving and used a robust titanium case, earning the trust of professional divers.
Since then, Seiko has continued to combine its unique technology and expertise to create numerous innovative diver’s watches that have been loved by adventurers and explorers, proving their reliability in harsh environments around the globe.
