The Gerald Charles Maestro GC Sport "Clay" ref. GC2.0-TX-TN-08 is a bold, contemporary sports watch that pairs the late Gérald Genta's unmistakable design language with cutting-edge, tennis-inspired craftsmanship. Housed in the Maestro's signature asymmetric Grade 5 titanium case—measuring 39mm by 41.7mm and just 8.7mm thin, with a distinctive left-hand screw-down crown positioned at 9 o'clock for comfort during play—the watch is remarkably light at only 65 grams. Its standout feature is the graduated russet "Clay" dial, whose hand-applied textured finish evokes the red powder of a clay tennis court, complemented by applied Arabic numerals, luminous hands and indexes, and a date display at 6 o'clock.
At its heart is the ultra-thin automatic Caliber GCA3002, developed with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, featuring 189 components, twin barrels delivering a 50-hour power reserve, and beautiful circular-graining and Côtes de Genève decoration. Protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and water resistant to 100 meters, the watch is fitted on a vulcanized rubber strap with Clous de Paris finish and a Grade 5 titanium buckle. Limited to just 200 pieces, this asymmetric, Baroque-inspired timepiece is a distinctive expression of modern independent watchmaking.
