A world first: The Tonda PF GMT Split-Seconds offers an innovative yet simple mechanism that allows it to retain its refined character. This complication has two superimposed hour hands, one in rhodium-plated gold and the other in rose gold. Pressing the push-piece at 7 o’clock causes the rhodium-plated gold upper hand, dedicated to local time, to jump by one hour, revealing the rose gold hand displaying the time back home.

This original and unique operation is achieved by integrating a sophisticated mechanism into the PF051 movement: once the second time zone information is no longer required, pressing the rose gold push-piece – which matches the corresponding hand – integrated into the crown causes the rhodium-plated hand to move back on top of the rose gold one, like a chronograph split-second hand.
